The by-election for the vacancy in the 4th constituency of the 20th session of the Yilan County Council is scheduled to be held on April 13, 113. Previously, on March 19, 113, our office convened a pre-election preparation meeting with the Yilan County Investigation Bureau, Yilan County Police Bureau, and Yilan Substation to jointly discuss election interference inspections, electoral analysis, and the deployment of measures to prevent and respond to election interference incidents. During the meeting, reports on election interference inspections, situation analysis, and deployment of measures were presented by the Yilan County Investigation Bureau and Yilan County Police Bureau Yilan Substation. Furthermore, strategies for election inspection were collectively discussed to counteract potential election interference incidents.

Today, Chief Prosecutor Huang Zhiyong, along with Executive Secretary of Election Inspection Dong Liangzao, visited the Yilan County Police Bureau Yilan Substation and Yilan County Investigation Bureau to inspect the electoral situation in the constituency. They received reports on the current electoral situation and the deployment of election inspections from the chiefs and deputy chiefs of the Yimountain, Zhinshan, Dahuo, Huihao, and Neicheng police stations in the constituency, as well as the investigation officers stationed at the Yilan County Investigation Bureau. Chief Prosecutor Huang encouraged the anti-corruption team to exert full effort in the upcoming by-election, strictly guard against unlawful elements intervening in the election, and uphold the fairness, justice, and foundation of national democratic politics in the election.

Our office urges everyone to uphold democratic politics and purify the election atmosphere as a collective responsibility.
